He said the Internet of Things (IoT) too had featured in the very successful cultivation and harvest. He said this after visiting the farm to witness the first harvest using the fertigation system, a precision farming system. “After a few trials, we finally obtained very good crop and harvest,” he pointed out. “This is indeed an achievement which augurs well for the future of precision farming, the path that the state Agriculture Department is pursuing and advocating now. He said the harvest is 1,500 or about two tons of golden melons from one greenhouse shed.
